Anna Grabania McKosky,93,of 319 Graham St.,Belle Vernon,,died Sunday,Sept. 29,1996,at 1:30 a.m. in Westmoreland Manor,Greensburg. She was born May 13,1903,in Twilight,a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Zwirzynski Grabania. Mrs. McKosky had resided in the Belle Vernon community for the past 50 years,having previously lived in Monessen. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are three sons, Donald McKosky of Belle Vernon,Peter McKosky of Perryopolis and Gerald McKosky of Belle Vernon;three daughters, Mrs. Ignatz (Doris) Madlenk of Belle Vernon,Mrs. Joseph (Norma) Trona of Donora and Ruth O'Leary of Belle Vernon;two sisters, Nellie Pobok of Monessen and Mildred Grabania of Monessen;15 grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Peter McKosky,who died Sept. 7,1985;a brother,William Grabania and three sisters,Mary Evans,Pauline Sypolt and Rose Kostura.Friends will be received in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Blessing service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev.John Klutchko,pastor of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Belle Vernon,officiating.Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
