Mr.Moran was born April 21;1914;in Vesta;a son of the late Daniel W.Moran and Jean Kennedy Moran. He had been raised in Belle Vernon and was a 1932 graduate of Belle Vernon High School. A sister;Mary Jane Wickmon;is deceased. Surviving are his wife of 53 years;Alma Murphy Moran;three daughters;Kathy Mullins of Babylon;N.Y.;Mrs.Ray (Alona) Cox of Coraopolis;R.D.1;and Mrs.Paul (Emma Jean) Morris of Coraopolis;six grandchildren;two great-grandchildren;and three sisters;Margaret E.Morgan of Belle Vernon;June River of Denver;Colo.;and Norman Jean Douthitt of Sledell;La. There will be no public viewing. Private funeral services are being handled by the Wharton Funeral Home of Imperial. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
