Theresa M. Mazzei,69,of Belle Vernon R.D.1,died Tuesday,May 9,1995,at 9:51 p.m. at her residence. Mrs. Mazzei was born Oct. 31,1925,in Van Voorhis,a daughter of the late Joseph and Suzanne Sentenek Lackner. She retired in 1986 from the Rostraver Elementary School where she was employed as a cafeteria worker for 10 years. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon,Mrs. Mazzei was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband,Pete L. Mazzei (who died Dec. 22,1992);by one son, Tony Mazzei (who died in 1979);and by one brother, John Lackner (who died during World War II). Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law,Peter J.and Carol Mazzei of Belle Vernon R.D.1;one daughter and son-in-law,Debbie and Dexter Ridgdill of Gainesville,Fla.;three grandchildren Chad and Aaron Mazzei and Lisa Bloom;two brothers,Joseph Lackner of Arnold City and Alex Lackner of Pricedale; and five sisters,Margaret Lambert of Belle Vernon,Anges Pagel of Detroit,Mich.,Stephanie Carroll of Belle Vernon,Catherine Conn of Belle Vernon and Veronica Marraccini of Monongahela. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. A Prayer Service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by an 11 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is handling arrangements.
