Robert Vaughn McMillen;69;of Grindstone R.D.;died Monday;Dec.13;1993;at the Fayette Health Care Center;Uniontown;after a lengthy illness. He was born in Oliver 1;Fayette County;April 4;1924;a son of the late Jacob Deal and John and Dorotha Hixson McMillen. Mr.McMillen was a Protestant by faith. He was a retired steel worker from USX;Irvin Works. A veteran of World War II;he served with the U.S.Army. He is survived by one son;Raymond McMillen of Fayette City R.D.1;two daughters;Patricia Smith of Grindstone R.D.1 and Mrs.Edward (Roberta) Muzina of Grindstone;six grandchildren;one great-greanddaughter;one brother;John McMillen of Perryopolis R.D.;and two sisters;Arlene McMillen of Phoenix;Ariz.;and Mrs.Frank (Mary Lou) Babich of Perryopolis. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Margaret Grace Whitelaw McMillen;June 6;1993. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday until 11 a.m.;the hour of service with the Rev.Wayne Boring of the First Christian Church of Fayette City officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
