Obituary

John E. "Cab" Muzina,72,of Boardman, Ohio,formerly of the Fayette City area,died Saturday, April 10,1993.in the Alzheimer Home, Columbiana, Ohio. He was born Oct. 22,1922,in Washington Township, a son of the late Martin and Rose Kroskie Muzina.  Mr. Muzina was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City. He was also a member of American Legion Post 732 and Croatian Lodge 504,both in Youngstown, Ohio.  Mr. Muzina was a veteran of World War II,having served in the U.S. Army Air Force.  He was retired from P & LE Railroad and Schwebel Bakery in Youngstown. Survivors include his wife, Mae Samek Muzina; one son, Robert John Muzina of Lighthouse Point, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. Harry (Rosemary) Husk of Pompano Beach, Fla.,Mrs. William (Dorothy) McBride of Poland,Ohio,Alicia Muzina of Broadman,Ohio and Mrs. David (Annette) Hospodar of Poland,Ohio; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Joseph Muzina of Belle Vernon,Steve Muzina of Fayette City R.D.1 and Edward Muzina of Grindstone,and four sisters, Mrs. Joe (Helen) Cikovich of Victoriaville, Calif.,Mrs. Donald ( Sophie) Pritchard and Mary Hezlep,both of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Winnie (Rosella) DuBarr of Charleroi. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,and Wednesday until 12:30 p.m. when a Prayer service will be held in the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City,with the Rev. Richard Mackiewicz as celebrant.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery with military honors by Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659.  The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
