Joseph Mochnaly Jr.;82;of Webster;died on Thursday;Dec.12;1991;at 6:15 a.m.at Jefferson Hospital. He was born on Jan.27;1909;in Jessup;Pa.;a son of the late Joseph and Susan Lapahusky Mochnaly Sr. Mr.Mochnaly was a lifelong resident of the Monessen and Webster areas. He was a member of St.Nicholas Orthodox Church of Donora;Belle Vernon American Legion and the Monessen Senior Citizens. He retired in 1974 from the Monessen plant at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company where he was employed as a scarfer. Survivors include his wife;Helen Zolak Mochnaly;three sons and two daughters-in-law;Joel and Bonnie Mochnaly of Paoli;Pa.;Daniel and Sharon Mochnaly of Belle Vernon;and Terry A.Mochnaly at home;three sisters;Mildred Fugere of Yardley;Pa.;Dr.Gladys Mochnaly of Monsey;N.Y.;and Joan Gater of Tabernacle;N.J.;five grandchildren;Mary Ellen of Norristown;Joel Thomas of Paoli;Daniel N.;Patrick and Christian Mochnaly;all of Belle Vernon;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A Blessing Service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev.Igor Soroka;pastor of St.Nicholas Church of Donora;officiating. Interment will be at Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas Service will be held Friday at 8 p.m.in the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
