Brunetta Mencarelli,96,formerly of Belle Vernon,died Thursday,May 9,1991,at 5:30 p.m. in McLuckie's Personal Care Home,Monessen. She was born in Pistola,Italy,April 14,1895,a daughter of the late Demetrio and Nunciatta Lazzari. Mrs. Mencarelli was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon and a member and founding member of the Annita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,Victor Mencarelli in 1963;and a son, Evo J. Mencarelli on Jan. 15,1977. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eva Simone of O'Hara Township and Mrs. Paul (Lloyda) Kostolansky of West Mifflin; a son, Delford W. Mencarelli of Monessen; two sisters, Olga Carini and Eva Carini, both of Oklahoma; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Annita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon will hold a service in the funeral home on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
