Bert McCullough Jr.;64;of 133 Homewood Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;Feb.1;1990;at 5:35 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born May 9;1925;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late Bert and Pearl Mae Price McCullough Sr. He was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon community. He was a member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church. He was co-owner of McCullough Cleaning Service of Belle Vernon and was also employed at the Fayette Steel Co.of Mt.Pleasant;where he worked as wire drawer. He was a U.S.Army veteran;having served during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion;Post 659 in Belle Vernon. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by one brother;Hugh McCullough. Survivors include his wife of 25 years;Catherine Kiefer McCullough;five sons;Andrew of Del Rio;Texas;Leonard of Woodstock;Vt.;David of Vandenberg Air Force Base;Calif.;Keith of Pittsburgh;and Michael;at home;one daughter;Cathy Deluca of Mars;one brother;Donald McCullough of Belle Vernon;three sisters;Mrs.John (Oella) Joseph of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Louis (Esther) Antonucci of Belle Vernon and Mrs.James (Bonnie) Redd of Valparaiso;Ind.;and three grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m.with Pastor Robert C.Hawk of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 will hold services Sunday at 7 p.m.in the funeral home. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
