Obituary

Antonio A.Malagon,86,of 17 Kathleen Drive,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,July 12,1989,in the Mon Valley Hospital,Inc.,following a lingering illness. He was born July 25,1902,in the state of California and had been a resident of the Mon Valley most of his adult life. Mr.Malagon was retired from the wire mill of Pittsburgh Steel and was a member of St.Leonard's Roman Catholic Church,Monessen. He is survived by his wife,Dolores Rudolph Malagon,four daughters,Mary Ann Wagner of Palm Bay,Fla.,Alva Kelemen of Belle Vernon,Emma Kostelak,and Pauline Malegon,both of Columbus,Ga.,one son,Ralph Malagon of Redondo Beach,Calif.,13 grandchildren,seven great-grandchildren,and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home Inc.,Marion Ave.,Monessen. A blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m.,Friday,in the funeral home,followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at St.Leonard's Roman Catholic Church,Monessen,with Father John Euker,pastor,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Robert A.Billick Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
