Salvatore Muoio;85;of 700 Graham St.;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;June 29;1989;at 1:03 p.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Italy on Dec.21;1903;a son of the late Ralph and Carolina Toteda Muoio. Mr.Muoio was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon for the past 17 years;he was formerly from Long Island;N.Y.;where he owned and operated a restaurant;retiring in 1962. He and his wife celebrated 58 years of marriage on June 27;1989. In adition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter;Carol Muoio in 1934. He is survived by his wife;Mary Trozzo Muoio;a son;Ralph T.Muoio of Centereach;N.Y.;a brother;Pasquale Muoio of New York City;N.Y.;three sisters;Josephine Trozzo;Angeline Reda and Rose Ruffulo;all of Montreal;Canada;and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Intement will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;is in charge of arrangements.
