Ruby Emma Minnie;457 Clarendon Ave.;Monessen;died Monday;Feb.24;1986;in Jefferson Manor. She was 62. Mrs.Minnie was born in Monessen on May 8;1923;a daughter of the late Dave and Agnes Levy. A lifelong resident of Monessen;she was a member of Mt.Calvary Baptist Church. She was also treasurer of the Air Cloud Club and a member of the Needlepoint Club. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by two brothers;Edwin and Martin Levy;and two sisters;Bertha and Ethel. Survivors include her husband;Arthur Minnie;a daughter;Barbara Ann Jones of Wilkinsburg;two step-sons;Ronald and Arthur Minnie;both of Monessen;three step-daughters;Hortense (Teenie) Maddox and Catherine (Nouchy) Rollins;both of Monessen;and Phyllis Reed of Rochester;N.Y.;16 grandchildren;10 great-grandchildren;two nieces;Fanny Heath and Marsha Scott;both of Monessen;a nephew;Richard Grogan of Monessen;and a host of other nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home;608 Sixth St.;Monessen;on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.at Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;Monessen;with the Rev.Griffin Mason officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home.
