Rudolph Rudy Mackey of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;died suddenly Wednesday;Jan.8;1986;at 3:50 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital Inc. He was 74. Born in Washington Township;Fayette County;Feb.18;1911;he was a son of the late Isaac and Fannie Mackey. Mr.Mackey was Protestant by faith. He was a retired steelworker. He was preceded in death by his wife Alma Mackey;on Dec.4;1968. Surviving are several nieces and nephews including Douglas Roberts of Fairhope with whom Mr.Mackey made his home. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 11 a.m.when funeral srvices will be held at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;with Rev.Wayne R.Boring;pastor of the Fayette City Christian Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
