Minnie Mullen of Fairhope;Belle Vernon died Saturday Nov.2;1985;at 9:50 p.m.in her home after a lengthy illness. She was 88. Mrs.Mullen was born Sept.1;1897;in Rostraver Twp.;Westmoreland County;a daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Lanese Vitullo. She was a member of the Marion United Presbyterian Church and had served as a Bethany Bible Class aide at the church. She was also a member of the Missionary Society of the church. Mrs.Mullen was preceded in death by her husband;William H.Mullen;on July 3;1979;and by one son;Edward Mullen. Surviving are two sons;William T.Mullen and James Mullen;both of Belle Vernon;three daughters;Mrs.Robert (Dolores) Stoessner of Clearwater;Fla.;Mrs.Joseph (Theda) Niedzwicki of Norwalk;Ohio;and Mrs.Ernest (Marilyn) Legg of Belle Vernon;one-daughter-in-law;Gerry Mullen;of Belle Vernon;13 grandchildren;22 great-grandchildren;and one great-great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until 11 a.m.;Tuesday;the hour of services in the funeral home;with the Rev.Mary Howard;pastor;Marion United Presbyterian Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon;Pa. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
