Clyde W.Miller of 869 McKee Ave.;Monessen;died Saturday;Nov.14;1981;in St.Luke’s Hospital;Sioux City;Iowa. He was 86. Mr.Miller was born March 13;1895;in New Kensington;a son of the late Thomas and Lillian Coughnour Miller. A Monessen resident for most of his life;he was a retired employee of the Electric Shop of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation’s Monessen Plant. Mr.Miller was a U.S.Navy veteran of World War I.Since his retirement;he has spent his winters in Monessen and his summers in Moville;Iowa. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the F&AM Lodge No.638;both of Monessen. Mr.Miller was preceded in death by his first wife;Maude Miller;in 1960. Surviving are his second wife;Zada Rawson Miller;at home;one step-son;Dwight Rawson;of Moville;Iowa;and three sisters;Ruth Taeff and Helen Aldridge;both of Weirton;W.Va.;and Blanche Simmons of Umstead;Ohio. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 .m. Masonic Services will be held Friday at 10 a.m.in the chapel of the funeral home;with the Rev.Howard W.Greenfield;III;pastor;First United Methodist Church;Monessen;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;is in charge of arrangements.
