He was born Dec 28; 1905
in Monessen; a son of the late
Harry and Maude Blouse
McElfresh.
Mr McElfresh was an
employee of the Wheeling-
P i t t s b u r g h Steel
C o r p o r a t i o n ‘ s Monessen
Plant in the Chipping Bed
before retiring 11 years ago.
He was a member of the
First Baptist Church of Monessen.
Mr. McElfresh was preceded
in death by a sister; Mary
Graves; in Florida.
Survivors include his wife;Ida Weible McElfresh; at
home;four sons; Robert and
Everett; both of Monessen;Allen of Donora; and Carl of
G l e n n Falls; Pa ; one
brother Lyman McElfresh;
of Pitcairn; Pa ; one sister;
Mrs. Charles ( D o r o t h y )
Wells; of Thurman; W Va ;
seven grandchildren; and one
great-grandson.
Friends will be received in
the Rhome Funeral Home;
I n c . 1209 Grand Blvd .
Monessen;Monday from 2 to 4
p m and 7 to 9 p m. Services will be held at 11 a.m.Tuesday in the Chapel of the Funeral home;with the Rev.Allen Herman;pastor of Union Baptist Church;Arnold;Pa.;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;is in charge of arrangements.
