John (Muskrat) Motchkoski; 304 Broad Ave.;
Belle Vernon; died Tuesday;April 14;1981
at 5:55 p.m. in the
Washington Hospital. He was
65.
Born May 27; 1915 in
Pricedale; he was the son of
the late John and Anna Motchkoski. He was a life-long
resident of the Belle Vernon
area.
Mr. Motchkoski retired in
1976 as an employee of the
Montour Mine of the Pittsburgh Consolidated Coal Co.
He was a U.S. Army veteran
of World War II.
He was a member of the
American Legion Post 659;
V.F.W. Post 3557; and Moose
Lodge 209; all of Belle Vernon.
Survivors include his
widow; Ida Livingstone Motchkoski; a daughter;
Ruthann Hackenson of Warren; Ohio; a sister; Mrs. Anne
Zevok of Belle Vernon; and
two grandsons; Eddie and
Randy Hackenson.
Friends will be received in
the Shelby D. Ferguson
Fuperal Home; 700 Broad
Ave.; Belle Vernon on Wednesday
from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home;with the Rev.Charles C.Colas;pastor of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
