Born April 29;1908 in Belle Vernon;Mrs. Marasco was a life-long resident of the Belle Vernon community. Mrs.Marasco was a member of St.Sebastian’s R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;and the Catholic Daughters of America; Court 1522;Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by her father;Angelo Mazzei;Sr.;in March 1952;her husband;Phillip Marasco;in Sept.1948;a son;Basil Marasco;in Dec.1948;and a granddaughter;Phyllis Berger;in June 1969. Surivors include her mother;Mary Cardamone Massei of Belle Vernon R.D.1;a daughter;Mrs.Thomas Joseph (Mary Louise) Barger of Belle Vernon;a son;Angelo Marasco of Palatine;Ill.;five brothers;Pete L.Mazzei of Belle Vernon R.D.1;Angelo Mazzei of Belle Vernon;Dominick Mazzei of Belle Vernon R.D.1;John Mazzei of Chadds Ford;Pa.;and Frank W.Mazzei of Belle Vernon R.D.1;four sisters;Mrs.Sue Touche and Mrs.Theresa Sapino;both of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Paul (Catherine) Doenges of McKeesport;and Mrs.Frank (Anita) Sefchok;also of Belle Vernon;12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren;and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A parish wake service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. Prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St.Sebastian’s Church;Belle Vernon.Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
