Roy McIntosh;67;of 614 Summit Ave.;Monessen;died Sunday;Sept.30;at 5:15 p.m. at Mon Valley Hospial after a brief illness.Born Feb.7;1912 in Camden;Ala.he was the son of the late George and Clara Burts McIntosh. A Monessen resident for the past 35 years;he was a veteran of World War II and had been employed by Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Co.in the open hearth department. Surviving are a daughter;Mrs.Barbara Scales of Detroit;Mich.; a son;Roy Jr.at home;two sisters;Mrs.Coreen Stateworth of Camden;Ala.and Mrs.Clara Evans of Cleveland;Ohio;two brothers;Willie and George;both of Camden;Ala.;two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services are planned at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;with Rev.Griffin Mason officiating;and interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Friends may call at the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home from 7 to 9 tonight;and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
