Funeral services for Elizabeth F.(Bess)McClain;86;will be held Tuesday;Aug.7;1979 at 11 a.m. at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Miss McClain;who retired as an elementery school teacher in the Monessen system in 1965;died Saturday in Mon Valley Hospital. She resided at 316 Speer St.in Belle Vernon. She was born Sept.9;1892;the daughter of the late John Joseph and Jesie M.Jamison McClain. Miss McClain was a member of First Baptist Church in Belle Vernon and its E.M.Class. Survivors include 15 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Rev.Charles Colas of First Baptist Church will conduct rites Tuesday with burial following in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Ferguson parlors.
