Edna L.Malarbi;of 628 Chestnut St.;Monessen;died Friday;Aug.25;1978;at 9:45 a.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Monessen;a daughter of the late Emily Massey. Mrs.Malarbi was a member of St.Cajetan R.C.Church and Ladies Auxiliary of the Franco-Belgian Club;both in Monessen. Survivors include her widower;Nick Malarbi;one son;R.Gene Malarbi;vice president of Monessen School Board and secretary of Westmoreland Intermediate Unit Board;four granddaughters;Rochele;Renee;Rosalyn and Rebecca;all of Monessen. Friends will be received in the Raymond D.Dalfonso Funeral Home;441 Reed Ave.;Monessen;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.Cajetan R.C.Church;Monessen. The Rev.P.Lino Ramellini will be the celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home Sunday at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers;memorial contributions may be made to St.Cajetan Church Building Fund through the funeral home.
