Obituary
John Meucci,Belle Vernon R.D.4,died Friday, July 21,1978 in the Frick Community Hospital, Mt Pleasant. He was 90. He was born in Italy,May 25,1889. He was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church,Webster. Mr. Meucci was preceded in death by his wife, Rena,on March 23,1978. Mr. Meucci is survived by one son, Alfred J. Meucci of Champion; one daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Lena) Swidarski of Maple Heights,Ohio; one brother, Joseph Meucci of Wilkes Barre and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave,Belle Vernon,on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer services will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 9 a.m.,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.,at the Holy Cross Catholic Church,Webster.with Rev. James Petravsky,celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director, is in charge of arrangements.
