Obituary

John Marinak, 85, of 120 Lee
Drive, Belle Vernon, died Wednesday,June 21,1978, at 12:15 a.m. in Haven
Crest Nursing Home in Carroll
Twp. following a lengthy
illness.
Mr. Marinak was born in
Czechoslovakia on May 19,
1893, a son of the late Joseph
and Mary Marinak.
He was a retired employee
of the Monessen plant of
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel
Corp, and was a member of
the St Sebastian Catholic
Church of Belle Vernon and
the .Slovak Catholic Circle of
Fayette City.
He was preceded in death by
two sons, Joseph and John
Marinak.
Survivors include his
widow, Agnes Marinak, three
daughters, Mrs. Joseph
(Catherine) Dorcon of Fayette
City, Mrs Paul (Mary Kaye)
Frederick of Craven Hill,
Charleroi, and Mrs. Emil
(Agnes) DeAngelis of Belle
Vernon, two brothers, Joseph
and Paul Marinak, both in
Czechoslovakia, 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in
the Howard W. McCrory
Funeral Home in Fayette City
from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and until the time of the Blessing service on Saturday at 9 a.m.,which will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.in St.Sebastian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon. A parish wake service will be held in the funeral home on Friday evening. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory,funeral director in charge.
