Margie Dean Lomax,66,of Donora and formerly of Griffin,Ga.,died Thursday,Oct. 17,1996,in Washington Hospital,Washington,Pa. She was born Nov. 25,1929,in Griffin,Ga.,a daughter of the late Luther and Amanda Belle Allen Laws. Mrs. Lomax was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a former member of the Kings Daughters,Missionary Society. Surviving are her husband,James C. Lomax of Monessen;three sons,Gregory C. Lomax of Washington,Pa.,Malcom A. Lomax of Monessen and Dennis J. Lomax of Sacramento,Calif.;two daughters, Janice Lomax of Sacramento,Calif.,and Traci Lomax of Donora;13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a godson,Dwight M. Law of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received in the Percy E. Law Jr. Funeral Home Inc. of Donora Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church,Sixth and Allen Avenue,Donora,with the Rev. Ernest L. Love officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery,Belle Vernon. The Percy E. Law Jr. Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
