Ethel V. Nicoden Lynn,87,formerly of Fayette Street, Belle Vernon, died Tuesday,Jan.9,1996,at 8:20 p.m. in Jefferson Hills Manor. She was born Nov. 15,1908,in Cleveland,and spent most of her adult life in the Belle Vernon Area. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon,and was formerly parish secretary. She was a former member of the Belle Vernon Women's Club and a member of the Monessen Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star No. 205. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her first husband,Paul Nicoden,in 1967;her second husband,Thomas Lynn,in 1986;two sons, David and Richard Nicoden;and a stepdaughter,Alberta Lynn Murphy,in 1994. Surviving are one brother,Clair Koppich of Port Charlotte,Fla,;one sister,Lillian;three step-grandchildren,Paul Murphy Jr.and Robert Murphy,both of Elizabeth Township,and Stacey Mosay of Charleston,S.C.;a step-son-in-law,Paul Murphy of Elizabeth and two nieces,Jean Page and Marie Gordon. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.with the Rev. Rose Bash of First Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon, officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Monessen Order of Eastern Star Chapter 205 will hold a service Thursday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Arrangements are bieng handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
