Robert T.Lowe;84;of 410 Oneida St.;Monessen;died Friday;Aug.26;1994;at 4:55 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. Born May 6;1910;in Donora;he was the son of the late Robert G.and Mae Brounce Lowe. A resident of Monessen for the past 38 years;Mr.Lowe retired June 1;1975 from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;where he worked as a rigger in the mechanical department. He also served as a safety and grievance officer. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a daughter;Janet Lee Lowe;on Nov.22;1963;a grandson;Sam Lorenzo Jr.;on Nov.26;1989;and two brothers;Joseph and James Lowe. Surviving are his wife;Frances Kiefer Lowe;one son;Robert T.Lowe II of Monessen;one daughter;Mrs.David (Margaret) Toman of Belle Vernon;three sisters;Mrs.James (Irene) Hoag of McKees Rocks;Mrs.Louis (Ruth) McQuillis of Sunnyside and Mrs.Walter (Helen) Backowski of Pittsburgh;two granddaughters;Regina Toman of Florida and Monica Lowe of Monessen;and one grandson;R.T.Lowe III of Monessen. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Stephen D.Yoney Jr.Funeral Home;First Street and Schoonmaker Avenue;Monessen;where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. with Pastor D.David Fink of First Baptist Church;Monessen;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Stephen D.Yoney Jr.Funeral Home.
