Obituary

Funeral services were held Monday for Minor G. Lynch,75,of Sweeney Plan,Belle Vernon R.D.2,who died Wednesday,March 3,1993,at Mercy Hosptial, Pittsburgh.  He was born in Monessen,April 8,1917,a son of the late Minor G. and Pearl Dixon Lynch, Sr.  Mr. Lynch was a charter-life underwriter for Prudential Insurance Co.,retiring in 1978 with 30 years of service. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps in World War II. He was a member of the Donora Lodge 626 F&AM,Donora Elks Lodge 1265 and the American Legion Post 659 of Belle Vernon. Mr. Lynch is survived by his wife, Helen C. Lynch;two sons and daughters-in-law,Dr. David M. and Joanne Lynch of Penn Run and Dr. William J. and Kathy Lynch of Brookville;one sister,Mrs. Emil (Phyllis) Govenor of Charleroi;one brother, Harry D. Lynch of Lakeside, Calif. and four granddaughters.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Gerald (Eloise) Marshall. Memorials may be made in his name to the Salvation Army.
