Edward F.Lea Sr.;59;of Monessen;died Monday;Feb.22;1993;in Jefferson Center Hospital. He was born April 22;1933;a son of the late Ferry and Sylvia Lea. A lifelong resident of Monessen;he retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.after 36 years of service. Survivors include his wife;Evelyn (Collins) Lea;three daughters;Dr.Michele Lea-Stokes of the Woodlands;Texas;Leslie Faye Lea of Houston;Texas;and Terri Y.Lea Esq.of Washington D.c.;one son;Edward F.Lea Jr.of Harrisburg;one son-in-law;Timothy L.Stokes Sr.of the Woodlands;Texas;three brothers;William Lea;Dallas Lea of Monessen and Warren Lea of Saudi Arabia;six grandchildren;Timothy L.Stokes Jr.;Cari Lea Ezennia;Edward F.Lea III;Darien C.Stokes;Cameron D.Stokes;and Shannon M.Stokes;numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law;including Robert and Joan Green of Gastonville;and numerous cousins;nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by one brother;Ferry Lea. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home;608 Sixth St.;Monessen. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.in the Union Baptist Church;670 McMahon Ave.;Monessen. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
