Florence E. Longenecker,88,of Charleroi R.D.2,died at home on Friday, Oct. 12,1990. She was born on Jan.26,1902,in Ivason, Pa.,a daughter of the late David and Rose Kieper Rummell. Mrs. Longenecker was a member of Metro Baptist Temple in Rostraver Township. She was preceded in death by her husband, Augustine B. Longeneceker in 1965. Survivors include seven sons, Robert C. of Sebring, Fla.,Wallace H. of Las Vegas,Nev.,Garmon (Bill) of Sebring, Fla.,Jack of Hemet,Calif.,David W. of Peoria,Ariz.,Samuel L.of Ruffsdale,Pa.,and Warren P. of Sebring, Fla.;one daughter,Mrs. Lester (Sally) Miller of Charleroi,R.D.2 and Mrs. Mariam Peters of Westminister,Calif;22 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the James C. Stump Funeral Home,Sweeney Plan,Rostraver Township,Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.,when services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev. Stephen Dobosh,pastor of the Metro Baptist Temple,Rostraver Township,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The James C. Stump Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
