Ralph Lehew of 503 Rostraver
Road; Belle Vernon; died Monday; Oct 23;1989; at 7:20 a.m. in
Mon Valley Hospital. He was 91.
Mr. Lehew was born March
26;1898; in Belle Vernon; a son of
the late Sylvester and Bertha
Krepps Lehew.
A lifelong Belle Vernon resident; he was Protestant by faith.
Mr. Lehew retired in 1968
from the American Chain and
Cable Company of; Monessen;
where he had worked in the
straight and cut department and
the research department.
In addition to his parents he
was preceded in death by a
brother; Melvin Lehew; and by
two sisters; Gladys Papson and
Hazel Lehew.
Survivors include his wife of
57 years; Ada Irene Markle
Lehew; one daughter; Ada
LaVerne Lehew at home; two
sisters; Edna Aitken of
Fellsburg and Mrs. Peter
(Thelma ) Latkanich of
Monessen.
Friends will be received Tuesday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral
Home; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon;where services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m.
in the funeral home;with the Rev.Charles LaPlaca officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
