Elizabeth (Betty) Lynn,70,of Perryopolis R.D.2,died Thursday,May 5,1988,at 9:55 p.m. at her home. Born April 25,1918,in Perryopolis,she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Siclia Askey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother,George Askey,and two sisters, Eleanor Askey Nichols and Jeanette Askey Neff. Surviving are her stepmother, Mrs. Edna Askey of Perryopolis;her husband,Glenn W. Lynn: a son,Glenn E. Lerda of Perryopolis R.D. 2; two stepsons,Glenn David Lynn of Sutersville and Glenn Gossett Sr. of Brownsville; five grandchildren,Mrs. Betty Ann Lerda Rock of Perryopolis,Glenn Robert Lerda of Belle Vernon R.D.4,Laurie Lynn and Sandy Lynn,both of Sutersville,and Glenn Gossett Jr. of Brownsville;two great-grandchildren,Mark Jared Rock of Perryoppolis and Robert G. Lerda of Belle Vernon R.D.4,and four brothers,Wilfred Askey of Scottdale,Harry Askey of Perryopolis R.D.2,James Askey of Youngstown,Ohio,and Eugene (Coy) Askey of Perryopolis. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.,Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.,and Monday until 11 a.m.,when servics will be held in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home Inc.,Perryopolis,with Rev. Robert D. Brooks,offficiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery,Belle Vernon. Arrangements are being handled by the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home,Inc. Perryopolis.
