Winnifred Lancsaster;Belle Vernon R.D.5 (Gibsonton);died Friday;June 19;1987;at 7:15 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 82. Mrs.Lancaster was born in Monessen on June 30;1904;a daughter of the late Morgan and Mary Tucker James Sr. She was a member of First Baptist Church;Monessen. A life-long resident of the Mon Valley;she has lived in Gibsonton since 1945. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Thomas J.Lancaster Sr.;Nov.28;1967;a brother;Morgan James Jr.1968;and a sister;Mary Ritzer;1983. Survivors include a son;Thomas J.Lancaster Jr.at home;three daughters;Mrs.Harold (Bonny) Ferguson of Monessen;Beverly Mitchell of Belle Vernon R.D.5;and Ardyth Rowe at home;six grandchildren;and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday at noon with the Rev. Earl Lehman;pastor of First Baptist Church of Monessen;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is handling the arrangements.
