John C. Kuhn, 89, of Brown Street, Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1999, at the home of Millie and Chuck Klisowski. Mr. Kuhn was born Sept. 23,1910, a son of the late John C. and Lucretia Green Kuhn Sr. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mr. Kuhn retired in 1974 from the Irvin Works plant of U.S. Steel where he was a shearman. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jack W. and Anita Kuhn of Harrisonville, Mo.; a daughter, Carol E.
Kuhn of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Leatha Kuhn of Belle Vernon; and two grandchildren, Lisa L.K. Sturgeon of Kansas City, Mo., and Shawn L.K, Finger of Nixa, Mo. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Dudgeon Kuhn in 1975; a sister, Ethel Kuhn; and two brothers, Clarence Kuhn and Harry Kuhn. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon,
where funeral srvices will be held on Saturday at noon with the Rev. Eugene Spear, pastor of the Char-Belle Free Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
