Obituary

Hazel Patton Kimball,79,of Stahlstown,formerly of Belle Vernon,died Sunday,Sept.13,1998,in Latrobe Area Hospital.  Mrs. Kimball was born Oct. 16,1918,in Belle Vernon,a daughter of the late George and Maude Rosse Patton. A retired employee of the former Monticue Restaurant of Donegal,she was a member of the Rehoboth Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon and the Order of the Eastern Star,Belle Vernon.  She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William (Ocie) Fasshauer of Stahlstown;two sisters, Dorothy P.Wall of Mr. Pleasant and Helen Ferre of Florida;seven grandchildren,Stanley H. "Tim" Kimball,William K. Fasshauer,Wendy Sue Fasshauer,Dorothy E. Fasshauer,Carl J. Fasshauer,James Teska III and Ocie D. Teska;and five great-grandchildren. Besides her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Howard S. Kimball in 1978;one son,John William Kimball;and one sister,Ocie Patton Curnow.  Friends will be received on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Snyder-Brown Funeral Home,Church Street,Donegal,where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m.with the Rev. David Robson officiating.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Snyder-Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
