Verna Mae Kurdilla;68;of Todd Farm Road;Belle vernon;died Monday;Aug.3;1998;at 4:57 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. Born June 19;1930;in Charleroi;she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Amy Savarno Trozzo. Mrs.Kurdilla lived most of her adult life in the Belle Vernon Area and had been employed for the past 15 years by the Belle Vernon School District. Survivors include her husband;John Kurdilla;with whom she would have celebrated 37 years of marriage on Nov.25;1998;one son;Steven Kurdilla of Belle Vernon;four daughters and three sons-in-law;Marion and Paul Schroeter of Jacksonville;Fla.;Kathleen Kurdilla of Pittsburgh;Diann and Ken Samoda of Charleroi and Ruth and Dan Sepesky of Bethel Park;one brother Anthony Trozzo of Niles;Ill.;one sister;Norma Miklos of North Charleroi;and six grandchildren;Sarah Sepesky;Derek Kurdilla;Jennifer Samoda;Heather Samoda;Cory Mikulewicz and Shauna Mikulewicz. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Thursday at noon in the funeral home with the Very Rev.John Horosky of St.John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church;Monessen;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
