Frank J. Komatz,of Monessen,died Monday,May 25,1998,in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in New York, a son of the late Jacob and Jusine Fugger Komatz. Mr. Komatz had ben employed at the coke plant of Wheeling -Pittsburgh Steel,Monessen, prior to his retirement. An Army veteran of World War II. he was a member of American Legion Post 28 of Monessen,as well as Epiphany of Our Lord R.C.Church of Monessen. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by two brothers, Victor and Matthew Komatz. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
