Obituary

John H. (Jack) Kelley,76,of Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,Sept.16,1997,in Mon Valley Hospital after a short illness.  He was born Feb.19,1921,in Donora,a son of the late John H.and Mary Kinnear Kelley.  Protestant by faith,he was a retired auto worker from the Fisher Body Works in West Mifflin.  He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II.  He was a member of the Western Pennsylvania Firemen's Association,the Fayette County Firemen's Association and the Southwestern Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs Association.  Survivors include his wife,Gladys Spiker Kelley,with whom he had celebrated 50 years of marriage last week,two daughters,Donna Kaye Kelley of Swissvale and Sandra Lee Kelley Josson of Belle Vernon,and one granddaughter,Amy Elise Josson.  Friends will be received in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc.,Fayette City,on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Saturday until 11 a.m.,where funeral services will be held with the Rev.Don Bowers of the First United Methodist Church,Belle Vernon,officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
