John F.Klancher;86;of Grove Avenue;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Oct.9;1996;at Country Care Manor;Washington Township. He was born in Arona;Pa.on June 28;1910;a son of the late Anthony and Suzanne Klancher. Mr.Klancher was a member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church and was a retired employee with the Corning Plant of Charleroi. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Helen Tordi Klancher on July 8;1987;one brother; Anthony Klancher;and two sisters;Susan Zollars and Mrs.Zunic. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law;Robert and Marlene Klancher of Belle Vernon;Richard F.and Henrietta Klancher of Charleroi;William A. and Pat Klancher of Perryopolis;Kenneth J.and Henrieta of Belle Vernon;two brothers Emil Klancher of Irwin and Stanley Klancher of Belle Vernon;one sister;Daisy Hoffman of Belle Vernon;12 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.at the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with Pastor Edward M.Miller Jr.;interim pastor of Lynnwood Lutheran Church;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
