Obituary

Mary Pellick Kernisky,96, of Monessen died Thrusday Sept. 2,1993 in Mon Valley Hospital.  Born Dec. 23,1896,in Brownfield,she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Anna Snyder Tremba.  She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church of Charleroi. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sam (Pat) Fee of Speers Hill and Mrs. Geraldine Taylor of Charleroi;one brother,Michael Tremba of Florida;four sisters, Mrs. Betty Virgilie of Ohio,Mrs. Katherine King and Mrs. Pauline Gillispie,both of Connellsville and Mrs. Dorothy Lewellen of Ohio; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kernisky; two sons, James Pellick and John Pellick; two daughters,Pearl Scott and Beatrice Simon; three brothers, Jake Tremba,John Tremba and Joseph Tremba and one sister, Ann Mosley. Friends will be received on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home,Inc.,226 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi, where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Scott Bryte,pastor of Christ Lutheran Church of Charleroi, officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
