Obituary
Jean Dalfonso Komlos,66,of 802 Crest Drive,Monessen,died Saturday,Feb. 15,1992,inMOn Valley Hospital,Carroll Township. Mrs. Komlos was born March 24,1925,in Monessen, a daughter of the late Bill Dalfnso and of Concetta Dalfonso,who survives and resides in Monessen. She had been employed years ago as a keypunch operator at the former Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Mrs. Komlos had taught piano for 37 years. She was a member of The Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church,Monessen,and was a former secretary of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. In addition to her mother,she is also survived by her husband, Emil Komlos;two sons,Kenneth Komlos of Greensburg and Russell Komlos at home; one daughter,Mrs. Terry (Rosemary) King,of Belle Vernon;two granddaughters,Melissa Komlos and Kristen King;one grandson,Benjamin Komlos;and one brother, Raymond D. Dalfonso,of Monessen. In addition to her father,she was also preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Dalfonso. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Raymond D. Dalfonso Funeral Home,441 Reed Ave.,Monessen. A Blessing Service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church,Monessen. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Raymond D. Dalfonso Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
