Edward L. Klasan; 33; of Perryopolis R.D. 1; died Wednesday; Oct. 9;1991; at 4 p.m. as a
result of a tractor accident on
his family’s farm.
He was born on June 7;1958; in
North Charleroi; a son of Peter
and Frances Cowell Klasan of
Perryopolis.
Mr. Klasan was a member of
the Belle Vernon Presbyterian
Church; Croatian Lodge No. 194
of Monessen; and United
Steelworkers Local Union of
Monessen.
He was a resident of Belle Vernon most of his life and had
recently moved to the Perryopolis area.
Mr. Klasan was employed by
Sharon Steel Company of
Monessen as a motor inspector
and electrician.
He was preceded in death by
one brother; Peter L. Klasan;
who died June 11; 1980; maternal grandparents; Edward and
Margaret Cowell; and paternal
grandparents; Louis and
Anastazia Klasan.
In addition to his parents; he is
survived by one sister; Jennifer
Jo Dowler of Greensboro; N.C.;
one niece; Kerry Dowler; one
nephew; Jared Dowler; and a
close friend; Maria Sivic.
Friends will be received
Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. at the Ferguson Funeral
Home Inc.; 700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a funeral service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m.with the Rev.James Burton officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is handling arrangements.
