She was born Jan.1;1909;in Poland;a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Grondusky. She was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City. She was a member of the Polish National Alliance #976;Arnold City;and the Golden Agers of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Walter (Whitey) Kroskie on May 29;1964.Survivors include four sons;Edward of Monessen;Stanley R. of Fairhope;Walter of Arnold City;and Joseph of Fairhope;two daughters;Mrs.Bernard (Betty) Chorba of Fairhope and Mrs.Ronald (Adeline) Lupori of Dunlevy;23 grandchildren;30 great-grandchildren;one brother;Joseph Grondusky of Carthage;N.Y.;and two sisters;Mrs. Edward (Helen) Popcum of Syracuse;N.Y.;and Mrs. Mary Swaglen of Boston. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and on Friday until 9:30 a.m. when a prayer service will be held in the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City;with the Rev. Richard Macklewicz;pastor as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangemnnts.
