Obituary

Mary A.Koslasky of 223 Mary St.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,May 15,1990,at midnight in Jefferson Hills Nursing Home. She was 92. Mrs.Koslasky was born March 7,1898,in Poland,a daughter of the late John and Mary Varsel. For more then 65 years she had lived in Belle Vernon,where she was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,Enoch Koslasky,Sept.28,1960,two sons,Stanley E.Koslasky,Aug.8,1959,and Raymond Koslasky,Jan.14,1983,one granddaughter,Judith,a sister,Josephine Ftyklo,and two great-grandsons. Survivors include two sons,Enoch F.Koslasky and Albert M.Koslasky,both of Belle Vernon,one daughter,Mrs.James (Julia) Paholski of Belle Vernon,one brother,Stanley Varsel of Belle Vernon,four grandchildren,three great-grandchildren,and one great-great-granddaughter. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a prayer service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
