Helena (Eleanor) Kulik,70,of 16 Graham Ave., Belle Vernon,died Friday,Dec.15,1989,at 6:10 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital Inc.,Carroll Township. Born April 19,1919,in Blainesburg,she was the daughter of the late Alex and Amelia Kozak Kovagh. A Belle Vernon resident since 1950,Mrs. Kulik was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. She was a former employee at the Brookvale Clothing plant in Monessen,where she worked for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Alex and William Kovach. Surviving are her husband, John Kulik;a son,John A. Kulik of Belle Vernon R.D.2;three daughters,Mrs. William (Sally) Callaway of Belle Vernon R.D.2;Eleanor J. Kulik,at home;and Mrs. Sam (Mary Dale) Shaw of Lanham,MD.,eight grandchildren,two brothers, Frank Kovach of Blainesburg and Robert Kovach of California,Pa. and three sisters, Mary Bokson of Brownsville,Belle Liberatore of Denbo and Ann Kovach of Erie. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
