William (Bill) Kovatch of 508 1/2 Perry Ave.; Belle Vernon
(Fairhope); died Monday; Feb. 15;
1988; at 4:43 p.m. in Mon Valley
Hospital. He was 78.
Mr. Kovatch was born Oct. 7;1909;
in Washington Township; a son of the
late Joseph and Mary Kovatch.
A lifelong resident of Washington
Township; he was a member of the
Hungarian Club of Pricedale.
Mr. Kovatch was a retired electrician in the blast furnace of the
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;
Monessen plant
In addition to his parents he was
preceded in death by four sisters.
On Aug. 19;1986; he and his wife;
Isabel Turda Kovatch; celebrated 50
years of marriage.
In addition to his wife; survivors
include a son; William E. Kovatch of
Perryopolis; two daughters; Mrs.
Ronald (Eileen) Marraccini of Fairfax; Va.; and Mrs. David (Mary
Ann) Smith of Washington; D.C.;
one sister; Lena Sakalik of Belle
Vernon; and one granddaughter;
Casey Marie Kovatch.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the
Ferguson Funeral Home; 700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Thursday;Feb.18;1988;at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
