Ida S.Killings of 437 Motheral Ave.;Monessen;died on Wednesday;Sept.28;1983;at 8:30 p.m.at Westmoreland Manor;Greensburg. She was 80. Born in Kentucky on Aug.10;1903;she was the daughter of the late Henry and Hannah Stavall. Mrs.Killings resided in Monessen for the past 45 years. She was a Methodist by faith. She was a member of the Wayman A.M.E.Church of Monessen and was a former;active member of the Missionary group and choir until her illness. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband. Surviving are three nephews;John Farmer of Monessen;William Farmer of Las Vegas;Nev.;and Thomas Farmer of North Carolina;a niece;Ida Allums of Monessen;two godchildren;Mary Margaret Corley and Winonna Humphries and a host of relatives and friends. Friends are being received on Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m.and on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m.at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen. Friends will then be received at the Wayman A.m.E.Church of Monessen on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.and before services at 1 p.m.Saturday with the Rev.E.E.Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Trudy Traylor Clanagan;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
