Clinton D. Jackson, 77, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016. A son of the late William and Helen Hammitt Jackson, he was born in N. Charleroi on October 3, 1938. He was a member of the Char-Belle Free Methodist Church and was formerly a member of the Belle Vernon Lions Club. Clinton retired in 2002 from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company and served in the U.S. Army, peacetime. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Daniel and Sandy Jackson of Fayette City, and Scott Jackson of Las Vegas, NV, one brother, Gerald Jackson of Belle Vernon, one sister, Linda Heslop of Maryland, and two grandchildren, Nevaeh and Daniel Jackson of Fayette City. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Pilarcik. There will be no public visitation or services.
