Paul A. Jones, 72,of 41 Willow Drive, Monessen,died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 7,1900,at his home. Born July 21,1918,in Donora, he was the son of the late William and Mary Jane Ashley Jones. A Monessen resident for most of his life,Mr. Jones was retired from the electric shop of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in Monessen. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II and was Protestant by faith. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a brother, William Jones. Surviving are his wife, Mildred Chulig Jones; a son and daughter-in-law,Paul (P.J.) and Cathe Jones of Belle Vernon;three grandchildren,Paul, Tabitha and Melissa Jones of Belle Vernon;a stepson,Jeffrey Woods of Monessen;and a step-granddaughter, Jennifer Woods of Monessen. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc.,Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen,where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.,with the Rev. Reinold Schiak Jr.,pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church,Monessen,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc.
