Janet Gardner Ferrari, 55, of North Belle Vernon, died Thursday, May 14, 2015, at 11:35 a.m. at Monongahela Valley Hospital, Monongahela. Born July 15, 1959, in North Charleroi she was the daughter of James F. Gardner of Belle Vernon and the late Janet L. Ball Gardner. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Mrs. Ferrari was retired from Mon Valley Hospital, where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In addition to her father, she is survived by a son, Jesse Ferrari of North Belle Vernon; two daughters, Angela Ferrari Sleith and husband, Robert of Charleroi, and Jamie Ferrari of Belle Vernon; five grandchildren, Holden and Preston Vernet, RyLee, Bailey, RJ Sleith; brother, James R. Gardner of Carroll Township; sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Jason Foster of Lancaster and her beloved pet dog, Buster Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Ferrari; an infant daughter, Heather Dawn Gardner Jay; stepmother, Donna L. McKenery Gardner and her grandparents, Joseph and Beatrice Ball Kontilak and George and Martha Webb Gardner. Visitation will be held Sunday from 6 to 7:45 p.m. at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183, followed by funeral services at 7:45 p.m. with Lou Barish in the funeral home.
