Howard L.Johnson of 245 Crago Ave.;Waynesburg;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Friday;March 14;1986;at 2:30 p.m.in the residence of his daughter in Mechanicsburg;Pa. He was 72. Mr.Johnson was born Dec.22;1913;in Masontown;Pa;a son of the late Riley and Nellie Johnson. He was a retired employee of the Railway Express Agency. In addition to his parents;Mr.Johnson was preceded in death by his wife;Dolores Guder Johnson;and by three sisters and one brother. Surviving are two daughters;Karen Cumberledge of Mechanicsburg;Pa.;and Mrs.Daniel (Janet) Hunnell of Harrisburg;Pa.;one grandson;four nieces and two nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Mariner and Milliken Funeral Home;197 N.Maiden St.;Waynesburg. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home;with the Rev.Deane Hardy;pastor;First Church of The Nazarene;Waynesburg;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon;Pa. The Mariner and Milliken Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
