Obituary

Nathaniel Dinky Isbell of 819 Fourth St.,North Charleroi,died Monday,June 10,1985,at his home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He was 31. Mr.Isbell was born Aug.5,1953,in Charleroi,a son of Arnell Isbell of Donora and Celia Isbell of Charleroi. A lifelong resident of the Charleroi area,he was employed by the Wheeling[Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,Monessen Plant. Mr.Isbel was a member of Mt.Sinai Baptist Church,North Charleroi,and the Donora Elks Lodge. He was preceded in death by two brothers,Lawrence in 1983 and Lemeul in 1969. Survivors include his wife,Kimberly Soderholm Isbell,two children,Nathaniel Jr.and Natalie Teresa,both at home,four brothers,Arnell of Detroit,Mich.,Richard of Monessen,and Thurman and Eric,both of Charleroi,and five sisters,Alice Isbell of Pittsburgh,Magnolia Isbell Taylor of Pleasant Hills,Brenda Isbell Collins of Detroit,Mich.,Deborah Isbell of Monessen and Linda Isbell of the state of California. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the William R.Taylor Funeral Home,645 McMahon Ave.,Monessen,and on Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. in the Mt.Sinai Baptist Church,North Charleroi,where services will be held Thursday,June 13,at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Leroy C.Harris,pastor,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
